Biography
| David's interest in photography came about as a young boy by the age of 9 he set out with a Polaroid camera to teach himself the basics of photography. The first subject that Dave concentrated on photographing was extreme sports. Even at such a young age, Dave realized that he had a natural born talent. It wasn't long before the passionate young man moved on to a 35 mm. He taught himself the intricacies of the camera as well as the concepts of lighting and composition. He has said that he "just figured it out, one step at a time," and that he takes an image he has in his head and simply reproduces it in print. While he makes it sound very uncomplicated, Dave is actually a slave to both technical and artistic detail. Every one of his images are thoroughly thought through and meticulously exacuted.
